Friends of the Paulding Chamber held their first membership drive on Friday February 9th at the Paulding Eagles. People joined together to listen to live music by the G-Men, chow down on a full baked potato bar, and Dairy Queen ice cream bar, as well as engage in some friendly competition in a game of trivia.
All membership investments will go towards downtown revitalization. Downtown revitalization is the main goal of Friends of the Chamber, and is a community effort. After about 38 name suggestions submitted by the public the new name for the downtown revitalization committee was chosen by taking pieces and parts from many suggestions. The name reviled is CoRP which stands for Community Revitalizing Paulding. To be a member of Friends of the Chamber means you are investing in downtown revitalization, and you’re offering a helping hand in the exciting changes to come. Friends of the Chamber would like to thank all of those who participated in the membership drive and became the first group of members.
