Paulding, OH: The Paulding Chamber of Commerce held their second Off of the Clock this year hosted by Paulding Entrepreneur Network (P.E.N.) on Thursday March 1st at the Paulding Eagles. P.E.N. is a group of businesses in the area that service Paulding in some capacity. The businesses included are Office Partners, Natural Design and Graphics, Schlatter’s Plumbing and Heating, Raylecom Communications, FSC Securities, Amerimade Realty, BRSW, American Cancer Society, Fun Factory, First Federal Bank, The Gardens of Paulding, Stahl Stoller Meyer Insurance, Diehl Cleaning Solutions, Paulding County Hospital Foundation, Cook Burkard and Gorrell Law Firm and the Paulding Chamber of Commerce.
The first 30 people to walk through the door received a smart phone wallet donated by First Federal Bank. Each wallet had every businesses’ card inside, but one wallet had a surprise $100 as well. The lucky winner of the $100 was Lou Ann Wannemacher. The members of P.E.N, and all who attended had a fun time with many laughs and the opportunity for social networking. Off the Clock is a perfect opportunity to build relationships with people without feeling the pressure of a formal business networking event. “This Off the Clock was a success because the members of P.E.N are such enthusiastic and friendly business owners and leaders in their organization,” says Chamber director Mikayla Pieper. The Chamber would like to thank P.E.N for hosting the Off the Clock and would also like to acknowledge the Paulding Eagles for their great hospitality. The Chamber’s next Off the Clock will double as their Annual Banquet/Casino Night on April 6th.
