An opportunity to explore and apply for careers in the healthcare field has been scheduled for April 11 on the Lutheran Hospital campus. This biannual event hosted by Lutheran Health Network has grown in popularity over the past year, in part because of the steps the network has taken to decrease the amount of time between first contact with applicants and official job offers. By all accounts, the 315 people who attended the last Career Showcase in October made it the largest in LHN history.
The spring edition of the Career Showcase will take place from 4 to 7:30 p.m. in Lutheran’s south lobby, located in Medical Office Building Two, 7910 W. Jefferson Blvd. Free parking is available in the south parking garage. Enter door 1L to reach the south lobby.
Representatives from multiple Lutheran Health Network entities, including hospitals, medical groups and urgent care clinics, will meet potential employees passionate about the delivery of patient care. Attendees can visit specialty booths to network one-on-one with LHN team members, share resumes, discuss job opportunities and, in some instances, take part in initial job interviews. Appetizers and refreshments will be served.
