The Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten class at Harlan Christian School has enjoyed a very busy March.
On March 9, Fort Wayne Police Officer Joyce Van Pelt, came to the school to teach a program called “Stranger Danger” to the Pre-Kindergarten class through second grade. The staff at Harlan Christian School implement many programs to promote school safety.
We also enjoyed a field trip to the Grabill Country Store for a tour of the behind the scenes operation of a bakery. We were thrilled to see the wild animals and were treated to a donut and cookie with a lunch that followed.
We also enjoyed green eggs and ham for Dr. Seuss’ birthday and finished out the month of March with Grandparents’ Day.
School is and can be so exciting as we learn academics, but also take time out to enjoy the simpler things of life.
