Baskets 4 Babies Supports Local Babies in Need

Associated Churches is hosting a “Baskets 4 Babies” campaign from April 9, 2018 – April 14, 2018, to benefit the Associated Churches’ ministry, A Baby’s Closet.

All items will be donated to A Baby’s Closet, an incentive-driven program that provides essential baby items to low-income families (or families experiencing hardship) to safely and adequately care for their children.

New baby items can be dropped off at Associated Churches, 602 East Wayne St, beginning 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. April 9-12, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. April 13, and 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. April 14 or donate online at AssociatedChurches.org/Donate. For those who don’t have time to shop, donations can be made by shopping Target’s “Baskets4Babies” Baby Registry and having items directly donated to Associated Churches.

Needed items include baby wash, baby lotion, diapers (sizes 3-6), diaper cream, car seats, high chairs, new clothes (n-3T), wipes, cribs, crib mattresses, crib sheets, bottles and washcloths.

The mission of A Baby’s Closet is to increase public awareness of responsible parental care by encouraging education, health and safety. Parents earn donated baby items by attending prenatal care classes, receiving baby immunizations, and participating in the infant safe sleep program. Your gift stays local, serving families in Allen County that need your help. Learn more about A Baby’s Closet by visiting A Baby’s Closet.
