Paulding, OH: This week at Kiwanis, Elizabeth Vance, Kiwanis president introduced the guest speaker Brad Sisson. Sisson is the Executive Director of Youth for Christ in Defiance which services Paulding as well. Sisson discussed the upcoming Youth for Christ Camp (YFC camp). Camp lasts for 6 days where kids are removed from their fast paced, and often time distracting environment and placed into an environment with no phones, and nothing to distract them from the message. At YFC camp kids see and then are explained the gospel. All meals are served family style at camp, and there are many bonding activities that all have an underlying meaning relating to the gospel. This year 94 students and 18 leaders are attending camp. 78 of the kids coming from Paulding and Wayne Trace. Sisson was very passionate about helping young adults find God and learn about the gospel. As always Kiwanis members will meet Thursday over lunch.
