Defiance, OH – First Federal Bank is pleased to welcome Jake Oberlin as Vice President, Trust Officer.
In his role, Oberlin serves as a trusted advisor to clients in need of trust or financial management services, in Bryan, Defiance, Hicksville, Napoleon, Paulding and Wauseon, Ohio, as well as Fort Wayne, Indiana. He is a cum laude graduate of the Farmer School of Business at Miami University, with a degree in finance. Jake is also a graduate of the Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust School, and earned the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation from the American Bankers Association in 2017.
As an active member of his community, Oberlin currently serves as the Varsity Boy’s Golf assistant coach at Defiance High School and sits on the board of directors for the Ohio Women’s Open. Previously, Jake served on Defiance City Council, participated in Defiance City Schools Strategic Planning, and was awarded the Defiance Area Chamber of Commerce’s 4 Under 40 Award in 2016.
