Norma Jean Hemrick, 79, died at her home early Sunday morning April 29, 2018.
Norma Jean was born May 31, 1938 the daughter of the late Norman and Audra (Fix) Rohrs. She graduated Valedictorian of Mark Center High School and was employed at Bryan Custom Molded Plastics, Bryan Ohio, for over 30 years.
Norma Jean was united in marriage to William Mickelson May 20, 1956 and died January 20, 1993. She later married Robert Hemrick on January 1, 1996 and he survives.
Norma Jean loved her family especially her 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Her surviving family includes Michael (Nancy) Mickelson of Stryker, OH; Jon (Lori) Mickelson of Hicksville, OH; Linda (Les) Yoder of Spencerville, IN, Marlene (Terry) Sparks of Hicksville, OH; Marilyn (Max) Zuber of Antwerp, OH; Sandra (Tom) Deady and Sharon (Terry) Colley both of Hicksville, OH and sisters, Kay Cook of Leo, IN and DeeLee (Gene) Andrews of Bryan, OH. A sister DeNel Rohrs has preceded her in death.
Visitation for Norma Jean will be at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville on Tuesday from 2:00-7:00. The funeral will be at the funeral home Wednesday at 1:00 with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Scipio Cemetery, Harlan.
