Cathy M. Wirts, age 63 died Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Ft. Wayne.
She was born March 2, 1955 in Dearborn, Michigan the daughter of Carl and Margaret (Schwartz) Myers, who precede her in death. On May 13, 1974 she married Ronald G. Wirts, who survives in Paulding. She was a member of Paulding F.O.E #2405; and the BUNKO Club. She was known for her cooking and baking. Her home was open to everyone especially during the holidays.
Cathy is also survived by a daughter Angie (Brent) Stoller, Paulding; son, Ronnie (Julie) Wirts, Paulding; a sister, Carla (Chuck) Sensabaugh, Antwerp; brothers, Steve (Linda) Myers, Van Wert, Jason (Julie) Myers, Hamler; grandchildren: Brock (Elle) Stoller, Bobby (Bryana) Stoller, Chase Stoller Jacob Stoller, Rya and RJ Wirts; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by a sister, Connie Sensabaugh; and two brothers, James and David Myers.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Thursday, May 3 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with Pastor Mike Pennington officiating. She will be laid to rest in St. Paul Cemetery, Paulding.
Visitation will be 2 – 8 PM Wednesday, May 2 at Den Herder Funeral Home. There will also be visitation on Thursday from 10 AM until time of services.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations made to Paulding F.O.E. #2405; Relay for Life; or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Memphis TN.
