Thursday was full of baseball and softball sectional action including a matchup in Division IV play pitting Wayne Trace with Edon Bombers. Raiders took a slow start as did the Bombers until the 3rd inning when Edon scored 1 and Wayne Trace scored 5. This told the rest of the story as the Raiders kept this momentum by scoring 6 more runs in the 5th compared with Bombers’ 1. Final score gave victory to Wayne Trace as they will now move onto District competition next week: Wayne Trace 11, Edon 2
