South Adams scored six runs over the middle four innings and made them stand up in a 6-2 win over Woodlan in sectional softball action last week.
The Starfires plated one run in the third to open the scoring before adding three in the fourth and single runs in the fifth and sixth.
Woodlan got both of its runs in the top of the seventh.
Ronnie Hathaway had a triple and Emma Baughman picked up a double for the Lady Warriors, who end the season with a record of 13-11.
Kayla Reidenbach and Alyson Wiesehan each added a single for Woodlan.
Baughman suffered the loss on the mound for the Lady Warriors, tossing six innings and striking out three. The Starfires totaled six hits and drew four walks in the contest as well.
Three Warrior seniors ended their careers in a Woodlan uniform with the loss. Wrapping up their Woodlan sports activities were Kayla Reidenbach, Ronnie Hathaway and Emma Baughman.
In earlier sectional action, Woodlan opened the tournament with an 11-1 victory over Bluffton.
The Warriors took control early, scoring twice in the opening frame before adding three each in the second and third innings for an 8-0 advantage.
After Woodlan scored another run in the fifth to make it 9-0, Bluffton got its lone run in the top of the sixth.
The Lady Warriors then sealed the outcome with two runs in the bottom of the sixth to close out the 11-1 win.
Hathaway had a triple for the Woodlan offense with Wiesehan, Baughman and Taya Kitzmiller all getting singles.
The Warriors drew ten walks in the contest as well as taking advantage of a pair of Tiger errors.
Baughman got the win for Woodlan, scattering five hits and a walk while striking out six in six innings of work.
