Paulding County’s lone high school track competitor, Wayne Trace Senior, Josh Kuhn, participated at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium vying for state recognition in both 110 Hurdles and 300 Hurdles. The weather was cloudy, with a slight breeze. Finishing in the 110 Hurdles at 10th place, Kuhn was only 0.01 of a second from advancing to the finals! Later in the 300 Hurdles, Kuhn was seeded at #1 and started in lane 1. Kuhn struggled in the second match to get over the hurdles. He finished 18th at 48.30. Kuhn ended his high school track career on this day.
He said it was just an off day for him.
Getting to state is quite an accomplishment in itself and Josh earned his way there for certain! Great Job Josh!!
