The Hicksville Knights of Columbus Foundation recently presented a grant check for $6,500 to be used by St. Michael Parish Hicksville for the purchase of a stained glass window. During major renovations to the church in 1999-2000, new plain windows were installed in a portion of the sanctuary with plans to put in more ornate windows at a later time. The church has beautiful windows throughout the original sanctuary and the time has come to update the remaining plain windows. Deacon Joe Timbrook has been heading an effort to replace those windows with ones highlighting the Gospel writers Mark, Matthew, Luke and John.
