On Saturday, June 9th, the skies opened up and let loose its moisture in the form of some heavy rains around the Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio area. In Paulding, as the 4-H Fair is getting set up for this week’s festivities, the rains put their set up on hold as the water rose in and around the fairgrounds. According to Paulding County’s EMA director, Ed Bohn, 1 1/4 inches of rain fell in a short period of time. This won’t stop the 4-H fair participants from their plans for the week. Showing, competing and exhibiting are all still set to take place this week — June 11-16 at the Paulding County Fairgrounds.
