PAULDING – Kole Small kept host Paulding scoreless in six innings of work to lead the Crestview Knights ACME baseball team to a 3-0 victory over the Panthers Thursday night.
Small struck out eight Panthers in recording the win, allowing only three hits and three walks in the contest.
The Knights opened the game’s scoring with a two-run third before putting up the contest’s final run in the fifth frame.
Small and Riley Saylor had two singles each to pace the Crestview offense with Kaden Short and Gerardot posting a double each.
Griffin Painter, Korbin Hartman and Brecht added a single apiece as well.
Paulding was led by Jaret Miller with a single and a double while Cory Adams chipped in a double. Cole Heller posed a single for the maroon and white.
Kolson Egnor suffered the loss despite a strong outing, throwing six innings and giving up nine hits, three runs and two walks while striking out five.
