PAULDING:
Phyllis R. Beamer, age 92 died Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Laurels of Defiance.
She was born May 12, 1926 in Montpelier, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl W. and Ruby A. (McDonald) Weaver. On April 21, 1946 she married Donald R. Beamer, who preceded her in death on December 8, 2013. She retired in 1983 from Dana Weatherhead, Antwerp and was a member of First Christian Church, Paulding.
She is survived by a daughter, Marsha Lee (Rich) Perl, Cecil; grandchildren: Margo (Bob) Kyser, Melissa (Denny) Coburn, Mindy (Rich) Wilt, and Matt (Robbyn) Hodge; 10 great grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by an infant son, Steven; grandson, Skyler Huth; brothers, Leon E., Carl W., William C. and Richard E. Weaver.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 11 AM Monday, July 9 at Den Herder Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeremy Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Live Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 – 6 PM Sunday, July 8 at Den Herder Funeral Home. There will also be visitation on Monday from 10 AM until time of services.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations made to Defiance Public Library Children’s Foundation.
