Washington, D.C. – This week, Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03) received the FreedomFighter Award from FreedomWorks. The award recognizes members of Congress who are dedicated to economic freedom and personal liberty.

In 2017, FreedomWorks scored key votes for 32 pieces of legislation, ranging from resolutions of disapproval for burdensome Obama-era regulations to supporting the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. Congressman Jim Banks received a 97 percent rating on the 2017 FreedomWorks’ Congressional Scorecard.
