Is your “garden” overflwing into the yard? Have your tomato plants taken over? Even the rabbits are tired of the excess zucchini? The Antwerp Chamber has a solution for you. August 13th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. “Grab Your Neighbor and Explore Your Downtown” invites you to bring your excess produce from your garden and join us for a Famer’s market. There will be a few tables set up downtown.
Introducing NEW for the August Grab Your Neighbor and Explore Your Downtown is Trivia Night hosted by Josh Hahn. This will be held at the Oasis on August 13th beginning at 8:00 p.m. Teams of 4 can play for an entry fee of $20/team. Winner at the end of the night gets half of the entry fee take. The format will be: 5 rounds with 5 questions each round with one bonus question. Categories: History, Geography, Science, Art & Literature, Sports, Pop Culture. Dust off your thinking caps, grab a smart, well-rounded friend and come out and join us on August 13th.
For the littles in your family, Papa Oley’s and Mike Schneider will host a Disney trivia night. This will include children up to age 9. There is no entry fee. Trivia categories will be by age group: 2-4, 5-7 and 7-9. Prizes will be awarded.
In addition to the trivia nights, we invite you to bring in your excess items from your garden and join us in a Farmer’s Market. There will be a few tables set up downtown and you can sell your items if you want, or just leave them out for folks to take and enjoy.
