The City of Defiance through their Parks Department is revamping Holgate Park right now. Oskey Construction is working hard to finish the new shelter that is being put where the previous shelter was located. New playground equipment is also being put in soon.
Matt Oskey said the City Parks Director, Rob Cereghin, saved money by purchasing the shelter house kit and having the construction company do the labor only.
The entire neighborhood benefits from great parks!
