Ellise Koenn, Certified Nurse Practitioner, will be working with Dr. James Gray at the Antwerp Family Health Center on Buffalo Street in Antwerp, Ohio. Ellise will be starting on September 10, 2018. Appointments can be scheduled using the Healow app or by phone.
Ellise will be working in the family health center, assisting with all aspects of a family practice, including caring for chronically ill patients, handling routine sick patient visits, and performing women’s health exams.
Ellise began her nursing career at Parkview Heart Institute in Fort Wayne, IN where she specialized in advocating and treating congestive heart failure patients and associated chronic illnesses. Ellise then attended The University of Saint Francis as a Family Nurse Practitioner student where she cared for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
Ellise will provide comprehensive histories, physical assessments, ordering appropriate test and diagnostics and providing treatment based on the most current protocols and guidelines. She also will provide primary care for patients of all ages, including dianosing and treating a wide variety of chronic health conditions, acute illnesses and injuries, routine physicals and well-child exams.
