The Paulding FFA chapter sent five freshman to the Greenhand Leadership Conference in Versailles, Ohio on September 7th.
The Greenhand Leadership Conference teaches young FFA members how to be leaders in their chapter and community. The attendees were asked to bring canned goods for the local food pantry as a community service project. At the conference the freshman listened to presentations about leadership and did some fun team building activities taught by the Versailles FFA officer team. Then the students learned about the many different Career Development Events from the Ohio FFA State Officers.
The students all had a wonderful time and got to meet over 150 other greenhand students from around the state. They ended the workshop with pizza and games before heading home from the conference.
