The 2018 Woodburn Christian Children’s Home Benefit Auction is the stuff of history now. This year’s benefit was well-attended with 265 guests with much fellowship by the WCCH staff, auctioneers and attendees. The dinner was delicious complete with pie filling the bellies as the silent auction bid sheets were filling up and the live auction was all set to get started.
This year the live auction brought in $36,645 plus $25,150 for the Furnace Project. When the last set of tables closed, the silent auction totaled $6,248. Donations for the dinner totaled $3,145. This totaled the entire day with a total that surpasses all previous years recorded – $85,638.
What a great turnout for such a precious ministry in our area!
