The Antwerp Local School Athletic Department held a Fall Sports Awards Ceremony on Monday evening, November 5th.
The cross country team was recognized for their successful season. The HS boys team were Regional Qualifiers, and Senior Jake Ryan was a State Qualifier. Scholar Athletes included Aidan McAlexander, Jake Ryan, and Chloe Saul.
The football team finished with 6-4 record. Scholar Athletes for the season were Keaton Altimus, Luke Brewer, Brett Fulk, and Ashton Barnhouse.
Volleyball team were recognized by coaches Paul Stoll, Kaiya Jamison, and Emily Hamman for earning their Sectional Championship status. They finished their season with a 10-14 record. Scholar Athletes included Kendall Billman, Alyvia Devore, Alyssa Fuller, and Healther Oberlin.
Golf coaches, Jon Short and Scott McMichael introduced their teams. Their scholar athletes were Brayton Stuckey and Nathan Lee. Congratulations to Jake Eaken for being a District Qualifier.
Cheerleader coaches, Katlyn Scharr, Kelli Bradbury, and Jennifer McAlexander recounted their cheerleading season of games, events and competitions.
