The Woodlan FFA Chapter was recognized at the 91st National FFA Convention as a 3 Star National Chapter out of three possible stars. The Woodlan FFA received a plaque for this accomplishment on the National FFA Convention stage. This is the highest award bestowed to any chapter by the National FFA Organization.
To qualify for this national award, the chapter must complete activities with quality standards and meet the minimum requirements as outlined in the National Quality Chapter Standards.
The Woodlan FFA Chapter emphasizes growing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture which provides educational experiences for the entire membership.
Currently there are 8,568 FFA chapters in the nation. Only 285 total FFA chapters nationwide were ranked a Three Star National Chapter with the Woodlan FFA being one of the proud recipients of this honor. Woodlan FFA is proud of its 200 FFA members that work together to accomplish this feat with the support of parents, teachers, the communities of the Woodlan school district, the Woodlan Ag. Advisory Board, School Administration, and the East Allen County School Board and Administration.
