PAULDING, OH
Susan M. LaBounty age 56 died Sunday, November 25 2018 at her residence.
She was born March 20, 1962 in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Georgine (Amspaugh) and John Vonderembse. On January 18, 1986 she married Charles J. LaBounty, who survives. She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding, and was employed as Senior Project and Development Engineer for Navastar.
She is also survived by her mother, Georgine Vonderembse, Lima; children: Ashley (Sam) Smith, Paulding, Alex LaBounty and Nick LaBounty both of Columbus, and Stephanie (Mike) Thornhill, Ft. Wayne; siblings: Beth (Mike) Mathews, Centerville, OH, Mike Vonderembse, Lima, and Glen (Kathy) Vonderembse, Yellow Springs, OH; grandchildren: Sophia, Adriana, Lailah, Lilly, Bruce, Nicholas, Olivia, Brooke, Nathan and Courtney.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Vonderembse, and son, Charles Joseph LaBounty Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10 AM Thursday, November 29 at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding. She will be laid to rest in St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, Payne.
Visitation will be 2 – 8 PM Wednesday, November 28 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding with a wake service at 7:30 PM.
