The Paulding FFA hosted the sub-district job interview contest on Monday, November 5th. There were 5 chapters that attended the contest. At the contest, members have 15 minutes to fill out an application. Once the application is filled out, the members are interviewed by a judge based on their division. Once the members are done with their interview, they have to type a follow-up letter. The letter basically thanks the interviewer and reinstates anything you missed in your interview. The members that competed in job interview from Paulding were Paige Jones, Myla Mitchell, Isabelle Heitman, Sydney Reineck, Shannon Hale, Jonathan Reinhard, Kalyn Strahley, Jen Stahl, and Sloan Foster. The chapter had one member from every division move onto districts. Division one was Paige Jones, division two was Sydney Reineck, division three was Jonathan Reinhard, division four Kalyn Strahley, and division five was Sloan Foster.
On Tuesday, November 13th, the five members who moved onto district, competed at Hopewell Loudon High School. Paige Jones placed third, Sydney Reineck placed fourth, Jonathan Reinhard placed fifth, Kalyn Strahley placed sixth, and Sloan Foster placed sixth. Unfortunately, none of them moved onto state, but all members did a great job at the contest.
