Paulding County Sheriff Jason K. Landers has increased the road condition status from a Level 1 Snow Alert to a Level 2 Road Advisoryfor Paulding County. This Level 2 Road Advisory means that roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow and most of the roadways could be icy. Only those individuals who feel it is necessity to travel should be on the roadways. A Level 2 doesn’t close the roadways to travel, but it is an advisory against unnecessary travel.
“The issues we are facing is blowing snow making it hard to see, and here is a significate amount of drifting as well, said Sheriff Landers. The county highway and township plows are in for the night. We will reevaluate the Road Advisory in the morning after the plows are able to make their rounds.”
