Seventh grader Caleb Laker was named Antwerp Middle School’s first Student of the Week for 2019. Mrs. Alyssa Saylor nominated Laker because he has already started implementing the Archer Way, a new program at Antwerp Local, by making eye contact, being attentive, and being respectful to adults. Middle school Students of the Week are announced every Friday in the library in front of the entire middle school student body.
Mr. Lichty presented Laker with a yard sign, which will be displayed at the Laker home for the week. Laker also received a gift card to the Genesis House from the Antwerp Academic Boosters.
