PAULDING – Carson Shull hit a quartet of three-pointers and scored 20 points overall to lead the Paulding Panthers to a 61-55 win over Fairview at the Jungle Monday night.
Fletcher Cook added 17 for the Panthers, who outscored the Apaches 19-12 in the fourth quarter to post the win.
The two teams were tied at 7-7 at the end of eight minutes of action before Paulding took a slim 19-18 lead at the intermission.
Fairview rallied to outscore Paulding 25-23 in the third quarter as the Apaches posted a 43-42 advantage entering the final period.
Jaret Miller added seven markers for the maroon and white while Payton Beckman chipped in six and Blake McGarvey recorded five. Bailey Manz and Jacob Eblin recorded four and two points, respectively, for Paulding.
The Apaches were led by Chayse Singer with 13 points and Caleb Frank bucketed 11 for the black and gold.
Russ Zeedyk added nine for Fairview followed by Cade Polter (six), Luke Timbrook (five), Keenan Jackson (five), Cade Ripke (four) and Riley Lucas (two).
