PAULDING – The Lady Panthers of Paulding posted a 38-37 win over Lincolnview Thursday night in Northwest Conference girls basketball action as the two teams wrapped up regular season action.
The Lady Lancers took a 10-6 lead at the end of one quarter before Paulding rallied to take a 15-13 advantage at the midway point.
Paulding expanded the lead to 23-16 entering the final stanza before holding on for the one-point victory.
Chelsi Geisige topped the maroon and white with nine points followed by Audrey Geisige with eight and Bri Townley with seven.
Janae Pease (six), Sydney McCullough (four), Sadie Estle (two) and Asia Arellano (two) completed the Lady Panther scoring.
Adia Welch paced the Lady Lancers with 13 points while Lakin Brant added eight markers.
Annie Mendenhall (seven), Sierra Adams (five) and Lana Carey (four) also found the scoring column for Lincolnview.
Townley led the Lady Panthers on the boards with 13 rebounds and Chelsi Geisige picked up seven boards. Chelsi Geisige also finished with three assists and two steals.
Janae Pease dished out three assists and Sydney McCullough picked up two assists.
