This week at Kiwanis

Kiwanis member Michael Wehrkamp introduced Dwight Stoller of the recently formed coalition, The Citizens of Paulding for Recovery and Prevention (CPR).  The mission of the CPR coalition is to help those in the community who suffer directly or indirectly from the effects of addiction and other life-controlling issues. “We need to remove the stigma of addiction and get people the help they need,” Stoller said.

Stoller explained that his “lane” within CPR is a program called Living Free. Living Free is a small-group ministry with a biblically-based curriculum that focuses on helping people prevent and overcome life-controlling issues. “For CPR to be successful, we all need to identify what we can bring to the coalition using our God-given gifts and talents,” Stoller said. Stoller shared how his faith and life experiences led him to desire to do more to help those in need in his community.

Anyone wishing to volunteer or learn more about CPR or Living Free should contact Stoller at dstoller@dlfamily.org.
