The Proverbs 31 Class, a class elective at Harlan Christian School to teach ladies the importance of serving God, family, friends and community, wrapped up their Sock & Shoe Drive. The numbers are very impressive. HCS has less than 140 students and they did a wonderful job of donating new socks and shoes for Just For Kickz.

Just For Kickz is an organization started by Jade Scott of Montpelier, Ohio when she was 9- years-old. Just For Kickz donates new shoes and socks to anyone in need. Alexa Helms, Grace Becker, and Faith Shenkel organized and ran the Sock/Shoe Drive for HCS. They worked very hard, and with the help of all the students of Harlan Christian School, Just For Kickz benefited from the biggest sock drive they ever had. Harlan Christian School students donated 47 pairs of flip-flops, 262 pairs of shoes, and 2,217 pairs of socks! Those are some amazing numbers and goes to show the big things you can do no matter how small you may be.

The biggest collectors of the donation drive were the Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Class and the Junior High classes.

The Proverbs 31 class will now deliver the socks and shoes to Just For Kickz and help organize them for the next giveaway.
