The National Weather Service out of Northern Indiana, reports 3 to 5 inches of rain fell last night and in some places as much as 6+ inches fell, in Paulding County. A number of state routes, county and township roads have high water in places and US 127 is closed, south of St. 114 due to high water from the Prairie Creek. And St.114 is closed west of Co. Rd. 87 due to high water from the Blue Creek. A number of homes in the village of Paulding reported water in their basements, as much as a foot in some of them, due to the heavy rains in a short period of time.
