Payne Elementary hosted “Night of the Arts” on May 9. The night started with a performance by each class in the gym, supper was served, and students visited stations such as snap circuit and rocket making, how to make a boat to hold the weight of pennies, makerspace in the library, looking through virtual reality goggles and others. Over 500 people attended including Johnny TinCap! Cotton Candy was a big hit of the evening as students lined up to watch this being made. A big thank you to Mrs. Jennifer Mohr, PE, Mr. Caleb O’Donnell, Music and Mr. Ogle, Art for their extra efforts to make this possible.
