Welcome to Antwerp Manor Assisted Living located at 204 Archer Drive in Antwerp, Ohio. Despite the constant rains we have been a busy group. The residents celebrated the Kentucky Derby with an enjoyable party. Snacks were served, hats were worn, and fun was had by all who attended. Karen Sanders chose the winning horse so she was the big winner of the celebration. Jody Shaffer hosted the event.
The residents also attended the Senior Day at the Extension Building at the Paulding County Fairground had a nice time. Lunch was served to all who attended, entertainment was provided, and several of our residents were fortunate enough to come home with a door prize. We appreciate the opportunities the Senior Center of Paulding County provides for us.
Since the Kentucky Derby party was so much fun the residents decided that they needed an Indianapolis 500 party as well. Once again the race was on, snacks were served, and Kathy Blankenship was the lucky resident who chose the winning racer of the 500.
Hopefully, June will provide us with more sun shiny days to sit on our front porch area and watch the traffic passing by as well as socializing with our friends! Thank you to Dave and Elaine Pendergrast who have provided us with outdoor furniture. We appreciate Dave and Elaine and their continued generosity! We are blessed to have many wonderful volunteers in our community who generously give their time and talents.
