The Village of Latty is having a welcoming at 11:00 a.m. with speeches from the village about the process of getting a new town hall and sending the old jail to the museum; information about the beginnings of the Latty Ball Park and recent memorials to keep improving it; and welcoming from the area churches.
At 1:00 p.m. the Latty Apostolic Choir will perform for about half an hour.
There will be free food throughout the event and door prizes.
Educational tables including Master Gardeners, the new beekeepers group, EMA, Habitat and some others.
Games include corn hole, bouncy house, face painting, water balloons, and basketball.
