It was a very peaceful evening to sit and watch the sky! Defiance United Way hosted the annual Hot Air Balloon event on Saturday, August 3! Crowds filled the Defiance County Airport to see the balloons and to support the cause!
The 6th annual Defiance Hot Air Balloon Festival was presented by First Federal Bank, First Insurance Group and North Western Electric.
People brought chairs and blankets, sitting out by the runway while relaxing in the hot air balloon viewing area.
The proceeds from the event will go towards the United Way of Defiance County Community Engagement Center (CEC). Learn more about the CEC at www.volunteerdefiancecounty.com.
