David Garmater, member of Antwerp Boy Scout troop 143, has completed his Eagle Scout Project at the Riverside Veterans Memorial Park in Antwerp. He constructed and installed a permanent picnic table and grill at the base of the stairs going down to the river at the park. He had it graded in all with stone and added concrete blocks around the table and in front of the grill. On September 3rd, the Boy Scout troop along with Antwerp Village council President, Jan Reeb dedicated the new recreation area with a cookout.
