The Clinton Street Bridge in Defiance has been under reconstruction for most of the year. The $8.3 million project will completely replace the bridge which carries State Routes 15, 18 and 66 over the Maumee River. The bridge closed February 25, 2019 for approximately nine months. The project is scheduled for completion July 2020.
The last update the West Bend News printed was in August, showing quite a bit of work that needed to be done on the bridge. One month and 11 days later the ODOT workers have made tremendous progress.
