Defiance Bridge Now has a Floor!

At 9:00 p.m. it appears that the work is about 20% done being poured, starting on the south end. 

The Defiance Clinton Street bridge update – October 4 and 5th. The bridge concrete is poured starting at 6pm and intending to finishing in the morning around 8 am. The men and women worked all 14+ hours to finish and the cement trucks were lined up ready to unload. They used about 1200 yards of concrete for the bridge.

The progress was slowed down to the extremely wet spring and summer and now they are working extra to try and get the bridge open by December. The project is scheduled for completion July 2020.

By 8:00 a.m. the work is nearly completed as there are only a few feet to go. The concrete is then being covered to protect it while it cures.
