On February 27th, 1960 William J. Schmidt and Linda L Franklin were united in marriage.
Officiating the ceremony was Father Miller at St. John’s Catholic Church in Payne, Ohio. They have lived their married life at Payne, Ohio. William retired from International Harvestor/Navistar in Fort Wayne, IN and Springfield, OH. Linda retired from Dana Weatherhead in Antwerp, OH.
The couple have four children: Bill Schmidt, Jr (Paula), Guam; Kevin L Schmidt (Tammy), Antwerp; Aimee L. Smeed (Ron), Metamora; Ann M Forrer (Brad), Payne. There are 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
A celebration will be taking place in Florida with long time friends and in Ohio with family and friends. Thanks to everyone who have been a part of our lives for all these years.
