The police at Antwerp had to make a trip to London, OH on Thursday, June 18 to make a delivery of evidence. On their way, a road closure had a detour and they ended up going through an alley where these two young boys were “patrolling” to help slow down the traffic that was being redirected through their area. They stopped to see the boys and gave them each a genuine police vest and said what a great job they were doing to making sure their community was staying safe. The boys are Aden and Axton Hammer who were dressed in full uniform to try and make sure the traffic was kept safe. Antwerp Chief George Clemens and Captain Victoria Clemens came through and saw the young men.Later that day the local deputy stopped in and gave both Aden and Axton their junior badges!
