PAYNE – The Wayne Trace Boys Golf Invitational was held Thursday night at Pleasant Valley Golf Course outside of Payne with the Paulding Panthers capturing the team championship by five strokes over host Wayne Trace.
The maroon and white finished with a 175 to take the championship while the Raiders carded a 180. Lincolnview used the fifth man tiebreaker to get past Miller City for third place, as each school shot a 182.
Antwerp (207), Fort Jennings (208) and Crestview (223) completed the field of schools.
Kyle Dominique led the way for Paulding with a 39 while teammate Blake McGarvey added a 43. Josh Carper recorded a 45 followed by Hailey Hartzell (48) and Kyle Harris (54).
Wayne Trace was paced by Mitch Sutton with a 39 and Dane Moore chipped in a 41. Evan Crosby had a 49 with Garrett Williamson carding a 51 as well for the Raiders.
Lincolnview picked up a 44 each from Grant Glossett and Dane Ebel while Evan Miller and Avery Slusher chipped in a 47 apiece. Landon Price also had a 48 for the Lancers.
Dillon Peck had a 46 for Miller City followed by Caleb Niese (48), Thomas Weis (48) and Isabelle Vance (50).
Evan Hoersten topped Fort Jennings with 49 and Aiden Grothouse recorded a 51. Gavin Schimmoeller (53), Nick Trentman (55) and Zach Schulte (70) completed the Musketeer lineup.
Antwerp was led by Eric Thornell with a 46 and Gaige McMichael had a 49. Ethan Lichty (53) and Jon Meyer (59) were the other two Archer players.
For Crestview, Evan Scarlett paced the Knights with a 51 while Tanner Myers recorded a 55 and Will Sharpe posted a 57. Trey Skelton and Tyler Hart added rounds of 60 and 70, respectively.

Blake McGarvey added a 43 for Paulding and Josh Carper chipped in a 45. Hailey Hartzell posted a 48 and Kyle Harris recorded a 54 for the maroon and white.
