Paul Edward Perl, known lovingly as PAULY, 52, of Paulding, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 23, 2020. He shared his testimony of faith with family and friends and was baptized in June, 2020. After an extensive fight with multiple myeloma cancer, he was recently able to spend time with friends and family who supported him as he traveled the last miles of his life’s journey. He came to love the verse from Revelation 24, verse 4 that says “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain”
Paul was born in Worcester, MA on August 12, 1968, first son of Paul Gene Perl and the late Eileen Sandra (Tuttle) Emmerson. He was a 1986 graduate of Paulding High School and Vantage Career Center where he learned welding that later led to his expert fabrication skills. Paul’s talents were many including incredible sketching and drawing abilities, design and fabricating skills. He had many interests including cars, specifically GT3000s and Mad Max Cars which connected to him to friends all over the world.
Paul will be sadly missed by his father & stepmother, Paul & Roberta Perl (Van Wert); siblings, Paula (Lee) Nuest (Payne), James (Christina) Perl (Fort Wayne) & Jacob (Jessie) Perl (Van Wert); nieces and nephews, great nieces & nephews; and many other loving and supportive family members and friends.
Paul will have a public memorial visitation service on October 24, 2020 from 1 to 3 pm, at Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall with meal to follow. All friends and family members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
