2020-2021 Wayne Trace Grover Hill Student Council members along with Mr. Lange give Mr. Tim Mabis their donation of $600 for Next Step STORM. Our students and staff raised funds for Hurricane Relief. Mr. Tim Mabis reached out to our school to see if we’d be willing to help collect items for Next Step STORM. With some quick thinking, Wayne Trace Grover Hill held two hat days where students were allowed to wear a hat for $1 donation, staff members could wear jeans for all week for a $20 donation, and freewill donations were gladly accepted. This was done in honor of the hurricane victims and all they have lost. Mr. Mabis will be distributing cleaning and hygiene kits to families in the Lake Charles area in early October.
