Welcome to Antwerp Manor Assisted Living located at 204 Archer Drive in Antwerp, Ohio. This month we are sharing some pictures from our National Assisted Living Week activities. Pictured are two of our new residents. Enjoying a yummy doughnut from Grabill Country Sales is Mr. Charles Keller. Charles and his wife Diane moved to Antwerp Manor from Wauseon, Ohio. They are enjoying the restaurant style meals as well as the entertaining activities throughout the day. Also pictured is Mr. Carl Myers. Carl is indulging in a sundae that was prepared for him during NALW. Carl moved to Antwerp Manor from Paulding, Ohio. Naturally, Charles and Carl were not the only two to be treated during the week of celebration. All of the residents were able to choose their favorite doughnut and their favorite toppings for their ice cream sundaes.
Although COVID-19 has certainly changed how we do things with our residents, we still try to provide all the entertainment that we can. On October 31st we are offering trick or treat outside for the children of Antwerp. Pastor Rick Grimes and his church family will also be in our parking lot offering hot chocolate and “trunk or treat”. Please stop by Antwerp Manor between 5:00-6:30 p.m. for some Halloween fun! Our residents will love seeing all of the trick or treaters even though we will be watching from a distance.
Thank you to the Wayne Trace Marching Band for their wonderful music this month. The performance was enjoyed by everyone and the weather was perfect for their outside show.
