Harold & Ruby (Schaefer) Kreager were married October 20, 1950 at Springfield Lutheran Church in Harlan, IN. Their honeymoon was a trip to Niagara Falls.
Harold was stationed at Camp Brekenridge, KY. Ruby worked at International Harvester.
Harold is now retired from McLean Trucking Co. and Ruby retired from Antwerp Weatherhead. They winter in Naples, FL where Ruby enjoyed volunteering at the Chamber of Commerce.
They have four children: Rhonda Kreager (Wynne), deceased; Rodney & Susan (Coughlin), Stroh, IN; Terry & Cindy (Kreager) Slattman, Paulding, OH and Scott & Jan (Kreager) Michael, Kendallville, IN. Three grandchildren: Chris Wynne, Castle Dale, Utah; Jay Michael, Kendallville, IN and Melinda & Corbin Rhonehouse, Oakwood, OH. One precious great grandson, Luke Rhonehouse.
The couple celebrated a time out for dinner with family on Tuesday. No big celebration at this time due to the pandemic. Their wish is for all to stay healthy.
