The Union Bank had their official Paulding Branch Ribbon Cutting on Tuesday, October 27. Community leaders welcomed Stacy Cox, Executive Vice President and CFO, of the bank. Big things are happening in banking in the area because of hiring local people for the branch. Paulding Mayor Greg White said he appreciated the fact they bank had confidence in Paulding and was looking forward to working with the bank right here. The Paulding branch is open in the Innovation Center developed by the Paulding County Economic Development. Tim Copsey, PCED Director, welcomed the new business, saying they had worked hard to get the business in and that is exactly what the Innovation Center is for. He thanked for the bank officials for making this decision to be in Paulding.

Abby Hornish has been instrumental in bringing her crew and having them setup in the UnioN Bank. This is a perfect setup to bring business and opportunity to the residents of Paulding.
The Paulding Chamber representative, Mikayla Pieper, was there along with the United Way Director, Lora Lyons.

Stacy said they will stay in this building until their facility is completed and ready to move into. The bank leaders specifically wanted to be on the picturesque square in Paulding. Dave Roach, Klint Manz, and Jason Thornell, also spoke at the event. Several of the employees in the bank live right in Paulding County, and are proud to now have their bank represented right here.
