On Tuesday, October 2020 members of the Fairview FFA Chapter participated in the state soil judging contest, which was held virtually. Freshman members participated in the urban soils contest, while sophomore members participated in the rural soils contest. During the contest, students evaluated the soils through a series of videos and then chose the best management practices. Members of the rural team included Molly Mcguire, Caden Burroughs, Carrie Zeedyk, and Bailey Schooley. The urban soils team consisted of Emilee Treace, Dawson Sines, Dalton Haver, Hannah Colbert, Gracie Willitzer, and Emma Zeedyk.
