Bill Edwards, Paulding County Health Department Administrator, was the guest speaker at the Antwerp Rotary Club meeting invited by Rotarian, Don Oberlin. Mr. Edwards spoke to the Rotarians of the current COVID situation in Paulding County. Afterwards, he opened the floor up to questions about solutions and the schools.
One question was asked about the limitations placed upon bars and restaurants to limit the spread. It was asked if there had been contact tracing linking those businesses to outbreaks. Mr. Edwards replied that to the best of his knowledge around here, this was not a problem. Other questions included if people could host both influenza and COVID, and what the current R0 (naught) factor reproduction number was in Paulding County. Edwards answered many questions about wedding gatherings and other events as well.
It was appreciated by the Rotary that Mr. Edwards took his time to answer questions about this hot topic at the meeting!
